Welcome to the RBC

Counseling Center

RBC offers free biblical counseling from trained counselors.

What is biblical counseling?

In essence, counseling is intensive discipleship. We recognize that every person with whom we speak has been made in God’s image. We also recognize that every person with whom we speak is a sufferer and sinner in a broken and fallen world.

Our counsel, therefore, is driven by the desire to make disciples of Jesus by helping others to submit their minds, desires, and wills to Jesus Christ in repentance and faith and leading them into greater understanding and application of God’s Word to every area of life so that they can then also help others. Our counsel, therefore, seeks to mine the 66 books of Holy Scripture in search of the infinite wisdom of God for direction in our lives, the perfect righteousness of Jesus Christ for the redemption of our bodies and souls, and the limitless power and comfort of the Holy Spirit for holy living before the face of God.

How Griefshare Works

It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel.

This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before.

“Going to GriefShare feels like having warm arms wrapped around you when you’re shivering.”

GriefShare groups meet weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life.

Classes begin: January 26th – April 20th, 2023 | Thursday at 6pm
